Yuyutsu was the son of Dhritarashtra, the blind king of Hastinapura, and his wife Gandhari’s maid, Sughada. He was the half-brother of the Kauravas and fought on the side of the Pandavas in the Kurukshetra war, the central conflict in the Hindu epic Mahabharata.
Yuyutsu was known for his wisdom and impartiality, and he was often a voice of reason during the war. He was also respected by both the Pandavas and the Kauravas for his courage and his loyalty to his brothers.
After the war, Yuyutsu played an important role in the rebuilding of Hastinapura. He helped the Pandavas to establish their rule over the kingdom and became a trusted advisor to King Yudhishthira, the eldest of the Pandavas.
Yuyutsu’s ultimate fate is not mentioned in the Mahabharata. However, some later texts, such as the Harivamsa and the Puranas, suggest that he survived the war and became the ruler of a kingdom called Indraprastha after the Pandavas’ departure from the throne.
