Who prayed Sage Durvasa for Pandavas?

In the epic Mahabharata, it was Kunti, the mother of the Pandavas, who prayed to Sage Durvasa for their well-being.

Once, when the Pandavas were in exile in the forest, Kunti received a visit from Sage Durvasa, who was known for his short temper and who could curse anyone who displeased him. Kunti welcomed the sage and served him with great devotion. Pleased with her hospitality, Sage Durvasa granted Kunti a boon, which was that she could summon any god of her choice and have a child with them.

Kunti, who had received this boon earlier from the sage, remembered it and decided to use it to ensure the safety of her sons. She called upon the gods and had each of them father a child with her. This resulted in the birth of the Pandavas.

Later on, during their exile, the Pandavas faced many difficulties and dangers, and Kunti was worried for their safety. She remembered the boon given by Sage Durvasa and decided to use it again. She prayed to the sage, who appeared before her and blessed her sons with invincibility, which ensured their safety throughout their exile.
