Bitter gourd contains vitamins A, C, E, B1, B2, B3, and B9, and minerals like potassium, calcium, zinc, magnesium, phosphorus, and iron. It is rich in antioxidants like catechin, gallic acid, epicatechin, and chlorogenic acid.

Regular consumption of Bitter gourd can provide many health benefits. Some people make stir-fries and soups with Bitter gourd. Some people cut the bitter gourds into pieces, dry them, and make chili powder.

And some people are making ways and chips. Following some simple tips can reduce the bitterness of Bitter gourd. Adding a small piece of jaggery while cooking Bitter gourd soup and curry reduces the bitterness of Bitter gourd.

Also, the curry is very tasty. Cut the Bitter gourd into small pieces add curd and mix well and soak for an hour.

By doing this, the properties in curd reduce the bitterness of Bitter gourd. Adding lemon juice at the end after cooking the Bitter gourd curry not only reduces the bitterness of the Bitter gourd but also makes the curry very tasty.

The tartness of lemon helps reduce the bitterness. Bitter gourd peel is more bitter. So first remove the upper husk. But most of us eat Bitter gourd along with the skin. If you remove the upper husk like this, the bitterness will be reduced.
